Baby shower - baby nappy

This cake was for a baby shower, the cake topper is a baby nappy bum, nappy has a blue trim to represent a baby boy.  Cake is a three layer cake vanilla-chocolate-vanilla with chocolate buttercream.

Baby boots - Baby Dedication

I made this cake for my dear nephew's baby dedication, you can be as creative as you want with baby boots.  I wanted to make something cute and also made some baby blocks which spelt out his name.  Cake is a victorian sponge with buttercream and jam.

Pudsey cake & cupcakes - BBC children in need fundraising

I made 90 cupcakes, 8 different flavours and a Pudsey cake to raise money for BBC children in need at my workplace.  The cupcakes sold out in just under an hour and a half and people were asking for more after it sold out.  Oreos cupcakes sold out first, red velvet was a big hit, other flaours were vanilla, lemon, banana with maple syrup buttercream, carrot, chocolate and maple and peacan.  People had to guess the weight of the Pudsey cake and the person with the closest guess won the cake.  Total money raised and sent off to BBC children in need was £176.30. 

Baby shower nappy cake

Lol this is a very cute baby bum in nappy design for a baby shower cake.  The mother to be loved the cake which was a triple layer cake vanilla, chocolate and vanilla with chocolate buttercream.

Bridal shower cake - Two tier gift box with pearl necklace

Double tier gift box bridal shower cake, colours are coral and ivory.  The pearl, rose and bow complete the finishing touches to the gift box cake.

Tiffany gift box cake - bridal shower cake

This is a Tiffany gift box cake for a bridal shower, Tiffany is a very popular choice for those that can afford it lol.

Bridal shower cake - bag full of gifts

Bridal shower cake is a bag full of gifts for the bride, pearl bracelet hangs over the bag and there are a couple of make up items.  Flavor is carrot cake.

Bridal shower cake - Heart shaped jewellery box

The heart shaped jewellery box was for a bridal shower.  The bride to be is showered with various presents, which is the idea behind the cake design, the pearl necklace and pearl bracelet completes the finishing touch to this cake.

Bridal shower/ engagement cake

I made this cake for a young lady's bridal shower, this design could also be for an engagement party.  Color is peach with gold detail.

23rd Anniversary cake

Anniversary cake is in a heart shape with a flower and painted small hearts on the cake.  This is a butterscotch flavor cake with butterscotch buttercream.

Word cake - EMDP

A group of university medical students ordered this cake for a charity event.  The cake is spelt out in the letters EMDP they were raising money for the Damilola trust.  Letter E was a carrot cake, M a chocolate cake and D & P were vanilla sponge cakes with jam & buttercream.

Doctor's cake - syringe and doctor's mask

This cake was for a trainee doctor, cake flavor is butterscotch with butterscotch buttercream of course.  First time i have had a request for a butterscotch cake, yummy yummy yummy.  I made the syringe and doctor's mask from edible icing.

Happy mother's day - March 2009

This was my first attempt at making a stacked cake, and thank God the cake did not sink (every cake decorator's nightmare).  Choice of spring colors to tie in with the weather season.  The top layer was a yummylicious lemon cake, (believe me i am not being biased about my cakes, i am an absolute perfectionist when it comes to make great tasting cakes) and the bottom layer a lovely carrot cake.

Baby dedication - July 2008

The cake was for an adorable little boy named Judah.  This was my first time making a teddy bear and it was not that difficult although as you may see the teddy has a bit of a big tummy lool.
