Red velvet make up cupcakes

I made these red velvet cupcakes to bring into work and decided to make some red make up accessories to stick with the red velvet theme.
I have a new appreciation of red velvet cupcakes, absolutely and utterly my favourite flavour at the moment.  I have finally developed a red velvet recipe that i am satisfied with.  My NEW & IMPROVED RED VELVET RECIPE is a must try for all red velvet cake lovers, spread the word!!!
The combination of the soft red velvety cake texture (which has a subtle cocoa and slight berry flavour) and cream cheese topping is out of this world. 

Angel perfume cake (Thierry Mugler)

Angel perfume cake is carrot flavour with vanilla buttercream.  A steady hand is needed to do the writing on the perfume bottle.  A perfume cake is a pleasing choice for most women.

Holiday beach cake

I really enjoy the creativity in cake decorating, here we have a woman relaxing on a beach with a hat over her face and a few other items.   The birthday lady really liked her cake.

An American work colleague who came over to visit the London office ordered this purse cake and requested red velvet flavor, which is definitely one of the most popular flavors in America and fast gaining popularity over here in the UK.  

Perfume cake - Coco Chanel

This perfume cake has to be one of my favorite designs.  The flavor is orange cake with cream cheese filling and was much enjoyed by all who ate it.  This is another popular choice of cake for most women.

Red and gold shoe cake

My first shoe cake, shoe is red with a gold trim.  The shoe box is a triple layer cake, top and bottom layer is vanilla and middle layer is chocolate sandwiched with chocolate buttercream.  The birthday lady loved the cake.

Most challenging cake so far, it took ages to make.  Attention to detail is of the utmost importance for novelty cakes.  This cake is suitable for teenagers and ladies.  Was so heavy to carry goshhhh, loool.

Green chanel bag

Green chanel bag, i was happy with the outcome.  Handbag cakes and in general novelty cakes always take more time to make than your standard square or circle cake with a simple design.  You need to shape the cake into a handbag and add detail, attention to detail is very important.

Jewellery box with pearls

This cake is made in a shape of a jewellery box and has pearls hanging out of it.  I really enjoyed making this cake it was quite easy to make.  Had to handle the pearls with care.  It was a delicious lemon cake with lemon buttercream filling the birthday lady enjoyed it very much.
