Pudsey cake & cupcakes - BBC children in need fundraising

I made 90 cupcakes, 8 different flavours and a Pudsey cake to raise money for BBC children in need at my workplace.  The cupcakes sold out in just under an hour and a half and people were asking for more after it sold out.  Oreos cupcakes sold out first, red velvet was a big hit, other flaours were vanilla, lemon, banana with maple syrup buttercream, carrot, chocolate and maple and peacan.  People had to guess the weight of the Pudsey cake and the person with the closest guess won the cake.  Total money raised and sent off to BBC children in need was £176.30. 

5 tier wedding cake

The colour theme of the wedding was ivory and turquoise green, this details is reflected in the ribbons around each cake.  The pearl pipework work design adds a touch of elegance to the cake.

 

Sugaray - topsy turvy birthday cake

This is my first topsy turvy cake that i made, this was for my sister's birthday as you can see it is a very colourful cake. She wanted a few images on the cake which represented her life, first is her as a baby (her entrance into the world), second is a basketball and hoop as she is very sporty and likes basketball, the third is a Bible reflecting her Christianity.  The first cake is orange and almond flavour, the second cake is vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream, and the top cake is chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream, all very yummy and delicious.

Multicoloured bow parcel cake

This has to be my favourite parcel bow cake, i like the combination of colours especially the brown bow.  This is a carrot cake with buttercream filling.

Super mario cake

I liked the design of this cake very colorful and most importantly my work colleague who ordered it was very pleased with it. It is full of action, this was a moist chocolate sponge cake with chocolate buttercream.

BMW cake - picture image

This cake has an edible image of a silver BMW, BMW is also my favourite car lol.  The cake is a vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream.

Boxing gloves cake

Painted a picture of boxing gloves on the cake using edible paint.  This was a lemon sponge with lemon buttercream.

Black and silver drum cake

Pirate ship cake

This cake was for an adorable little girl who turned six, she requested a pirate ship cake to match the venue of her party which had a pirate theme.

Lilac and pink castle cake

Here we have a lilac and pink castle cake with white flowers and white pebbles.  Castle cakes are also suitable for teenage girls, using bold and deep colors such as red and gold gives the cake a more adult look.

Holiday beach cake

I really enjoy the creativity in cake decorating, here we have a woman relaxing on a beach with a hat over her face and a few other items.   The birthday lady really liked her cake.

Giant pink cup cake

Cupcakes are still very popular and giant cupcakes are also gaining popularity.  They are ideal for small children parties.  This is a vanilla sponge triple layer cake with pink vanilla buttercream filling.

Baby shower nappy cake

Lol this is a very cute baby bum in nappy design for a baby shower cake.  The mother to be loved the cake which was a triple layer cake vanilla, chocolate and vanilla with chocolate buttercream.

Turquoise Jewelry box cake

This is a turquoise and gold jewelry box cake, with peach earrings on top.  This was carrot cake with buttercream filling.

Lilac and cream parcel cake

This is my favorite parcel cake creation so far. The lid is lilac and the box is cream with lilac spots.  This was a carrot cake with buttercream filling.

Pink castle cake

A simple and pretty pink castle cake, pink is a popular choice for girls.  This is a vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream.

Green and yellow parcel cake

Parcel cakes are very popular and suit both male and female, designs are endless.  This was a vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream.

Peach handbag cake

Peach handbag cake with a bow that i made for my dear mum on her birthday.  It was a four layer carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Microphone cake

I made this microphone cake for the praise and worship leader at my church, with musical notes around the cake.

Bridal shower cake - Two tier gift box with pearl necklace

Double tier gift box bridal shower cake, colours are coral and ivory.  The pearl, rose and bow complete the finishing touches to the gift box cake.

Piano cake

Black and beige piano cake with a black seat, this was a fun cake to make.  This was a vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream.

Satchel handbag cake

Hot pink satchel handbag cake, this was a four layer carrot cake flavor.

Gift Parcel cake - red bow and gold butterflies

I  have previously made a cake in this design except it was burgundy bow and butterflies, the person who ordered this cake requested the exact same style but with a red bow and gold butterflies.  I love the colour combination.

Tiffany gift box cake - bridal shower cake

This is a Tiffany gift box cake for a bridal shower, Tiffany is a very popular choice for those that can afford it lol.

Bridal shower cake - bag full of gifts

Bridal shower cake is a bag full of gifts for the bride, pearl bracelet hangs over the bag and there are a couple of make up items.  Flavor is carrot cake.

Cute purse cake - red velvet flavor

An American work colleague who came over to visit the London office ordered this purse cake and requested red velvet flavor, which is definitely one of the most popular flavors in America and fast gaining popularity over here in the UK.  

Purple and pink Butterfly cake

This is a purple and pink butterfly cake, a vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream filling.  Butterfly cakes are fun to make some many designs that you can try out.  This cake is suitable for girls between the ages of 4 to 10.

Thomas the tank engine cake

Wow, Thomas the tank engine cake, it actually took me longer to make this cake than i had estimated but it was well worth it.  I was nervous about making the face part but fortunately for me it was quite straightforward.  This is definitely one of my favorite children's cake, very colorful and loads of detail.  My friend who ordered the cake for her son was very happy with it.

Perfume cake - Coco Chanel

This perfume cake has to be one of my favorite designs.  The flavor is orange cake with cream cheese filling and was much enjoyed by all who ate it.  This is another popular choice of cake for most women.

Shirt and tie cake

This is a shirt and tie cake for my cousin's birthday.   This is a safe choice for a cake design for most men, blue shirt with yellow tie and gold cufflinks, different color combinations can be used.

Bridal shower cake - Heart shaped jewellery box

The heart shaped jewellery box was for a bridal shower.  The bride to be is showered with various presents, which is the idea behind the cake design, the pearl necklace and pearl bracelet completes the finishing touch to this cake.

Nigerian Flag cake

The person who ordered the cake wanted the nigerian flag on the cake as that was the birthday theme.  Flavor cake is butterscotch cake.

Red and gold shoe cake

My first shoe cake, shoe is red with a gold trim.  The shoe box is a triple layer cake, top and bottom layer is vanilla and middle layer is chocolate sandwiched with chocolate buttercream.  The birthday lady loved the cake.

Bridal shower/ engagement cake

I made this cake for a young lady's bridal shower, this design could also be for an engagement party.  Color is peach with gold detail.

Violin cake

Cake was for an 11 year old girl who plays the violin.  I enjoyed making this cake and i bought real strings for the violin strings.  The cake is all chocolate, chocolate mud cake with chocolate buttercream and the brown sugar paste is chocolate sugar paste.

Ghana Flag

Cake is of a Ghana flag, the wave effect really brings it to life.  This was a carrot cake with vanilla buttercream.

23rd Anniversary cake

Anniversary cake is in a heart shape with a flower and painted small hearts on the cake.  This is a butterscotch flavor cake with butterscotch buttercream.

Word cake - EMDP

A group of university medical students ordered this cake for a charity event.  The cake is spelt out in the letters EMDP they were raising money for the Damilola trust.  Letter E was a carrot cake, M a chocolate cake and D & P were vanilla sponge cakes with jam & buttercream.

Peppa pig

Cute Peppa pig cake with some details, this cake was for a cute little girl who turned 3.
